Since then, the astounding security failures surrounding this attempted assassination of President Trump demand further action. Even after the Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned, there are so many open questions regarding security that could leave President Trump vulnerable. That is not good enough.

Congress needs to demand an independent expert commission to complete reform of the Secret Service and STOP the DEI. Our nation needs to get to the bottom of this, including all communications related to the “coordination” of the Secret Service, Transportation Security Administration, and state and local law enforcement to screen the rally attendees.

Fax the U.S. House and Senate now, asking them to support a rigorous and independent commission to investigate the systemic failures in the protection of Donald J. Trump.

I was horrified when I learned about the assassination attempt on President Trump. We need to act immediately to protect President Trump and vigorously investigate.

We cannot leave the safety of President Trump — or any presidential candidate — up to a random turn of the head. Even after the resignation of Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, there are so many open questions regarding security that could leave President Trump vulnerable. That is not good enough.

This was a MASSIVE failing of incompetent security staff, and it needs to be addressed immediately, not in the future. At a minimum, the shooter should never have been able to climb up to the roof of a building in range with a clear line of sight of the person being protected.

I ask you to fight to completely reform the Secret Service, STOP DEI, and if necessary, strip funding from the federal agencies that led to this near tragic moment, and hold accountable those directly responsible for these catastrophic failures.

Please do everything in your power to stop these attacks on Trump and hold accountable those responsible for inciting violence and for failing to stop that violence.
