END THE PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS IN CHINA
Religious freedom MUST be a part of the USCTA
Chinese Christians are violently persecuted to such an extent that gospel churches must operate underground and in secret lest they be captured, tortured, beaten and imprisoned.
WE CAN END THE ABUSE.
We are in the process of negotiating the US-China Trade Agreement, (USCTA). Unfortunately, unlike the trade agreements America has with many other countries, religious freedom provisions have not been included in this agreement.
The Trump Administration has a unique ability to rescue China’s persecuted Christians by requiring China to guarantee its citizens religious freedom as a condition of the USCTA.
But there is little time.
It is imperative that President Trump and the US Trade Representative hear from as many concerned Christians as possible today.
China must guarantee religious freedom as part of the USCTA.
USCTA RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
Dear Mr. President and Director Robert Lighthizer of the USTR,
Chinese Christians are routinely arrested, tortured, beaten, imprisoned, and killed for their religious beliefs. Trade agreements similar to the United States-China Trade Agreement have long contained provisions requiring signatory countries to end human rights abuses and guarantee citizens’ religious freedom. America has, right now, a once in a generation opportunity to help Chinese people worship in peace.
Religious freedom provisions in the USCTA will literally save lives.
Please, include religious freedom provisions of the United States-China Trade Agreement.
Sincerely,
(Your Name)
