   Power plants, water treatment facilities, transportation hubs, and health care systems are all vulnerable. A single coordinated strike could plunge cities into darkness, disrupt supply chains, and endanger lives.

-  Economic and Military Under Espionage
   Billions in American innovation, defense technology, and intellectual property are being stolen annually — funding China’s rise while hollowing out our competitive edge.

-  Data as a Weapon
   Massive collections of personal information, including voter data, are being harvested. This intelligence can be weaponized for influence operations, blackmail, or to sow division in our society.

RE: URGENT: Execute Emergency Defenses Against Foreign Cyber Sabotage and Critical Infrastructure Infiltration

We are facing a silent invasion. It is already underway inside our borders, and Congress must act to protect our nation from collapsing to a sudden, catastrophic halt.

Experts are warning us that foreign adversaries — led by the Chinese Communist Party — have bypassed traditional defenses to embed malicious sleeper code directly into the digital nervous system of the United States. Without firing a single missile, hostile actors have compromised countless networks, quietly operating our power grid, drinking water systems, emergency 911 services, hospitals, and fuel pipelines. Like a thief who secretly copies every key to your home, foreign hostile actors are poised to access our critical infrastructure, patiently waiting for the precise geopolitical moment to turn those keys and trigger total domestic chaos.

This is not a theoretical threat for tomorrow; it is a clear and present danger today. Foreign cyber theft already drains 600 billion dollars from our economy every year. Former NSA Director Keith Alexander called this astounding loss "the greatest transfer of wealth in history."

Combined with the theft of hundreds of millions of personal voter records, our national sovereignty and security are under continuous siege. Washington cannot afford to treat this existential crisis with slow-moving, bureaucratic committee hearings while foreign malware sits dormant inside our electric grids and water supplies.

I urge you to take immediate, aggressive, and decisive legislative action to defend our republic. I urge you to do everything in your power to support:

  • H.R. 2659 the Strengthening Cyber Resilience Against State-Sponsored Threats Act,
  • H.R. 7208 the PROTECT the Grid Act,
  • S. 1778 — Countering Chinese Espionage Reporting Act.
  • And other bills to strengthen our defense against these attacks.
Congress to immediately and fully pass these bills now.

America does not have the luxury of waiting until the lights go out, the water stops flowing, or our hospitals are paralyzed. I urge you to fulfill your oath to defend this nation and act before today’s silent intrusion becomes tomorrow’s devastating national emergency.
