Democrats are pushing a bill to halt President Trump's emergency funding of a border wall in strategic locations. It passed the U.S. House with 13 Republicans joining in. Now the Senate has at least four Republican members who intend to fight against President Trump and border security.

On our southern border, apprehension increased 97% over last fiscal year. In addition, 76,000 migrants were turned away just during February.

But it's the illegals who make it through who are much more concerning!

The reality is we are facing a significant surge, In addition, smugglers are using a record number of loopholes to prevent ICE from returning people to their homeland. In 2000, 95% of people picked up were single adults. They were returned within a few hours of entering America. Now family units that must be released into America are up 338%.

Smugglers are gaming the system by including a child in a group as a fictitious "family." This ensures the group will be released quicker into America. But this creates a heartbreaking consequence! Law enforcement officers now must give pregnancy tests to every girl 10 years and older entering our nation because of the prevalence of abuse against these children!

Laws that intended to help these children, are actually hurting them! People are taking advantage of helpless kids to get in America.This is not the type of individuals who will make our communities and country a better place. Those wiling to follow our laws can build and contribute to our nation.
