I'll give you a quick update: Maryland's legislature was considering a devastating constitutional amendment. Going far beyond Roe v. Wade, the bill would allow partial-birth abortions. It would permit teens to hide birth control and even abortions from their parents. And it could lay the groundwork to legalize pedophilia!

But it didn't fly under the radar as pro-death radicals had hoped. Liberty Counsel Action got involved.

We pointed out our concern that it would give pedophilia a constitutional basis. We prepared testimony and began coordinating with Maryland's pro-life leaders and organizations. Just a few days after I first emailed you about this bill, the legislative sponsor announced he was going to pull it, effectively killing this dangerous bill for the current legislative schedule.

Right now, the battle is intensifying in Illinois. Their legislature is working on a bill to allow completely unregulated abortions and even infanticide!

The bill's definition of "abortion" allows the use of any means "with an intention other than...to preserve the life or health of the child after live birth..."
