If you have ever been to the Dead Sea, you know how dangerous it can be if you swallow the water. The high salt and mineral content make you float like a cork. Virtually nothing can survive in this environment.

While Melissa Ohden was far removed from the Dead Sea, she found herself surrounded by a saline solution intended to end her life.

Death in this toxic environment is agonizing and painful, and the dying process went on for five days ...

But God had other plans.

“I endured the deliverance of this saline solution into the fluid around me ... while numerous rounds of Pitocin were delivered to my mother, to induce labor, and ultimately dispel my dead body from her womb.”

Delivered on the fifth day, Melissa said, “I was believed to be dead ... but I was alive.” She defied expectations — by staying alive. But that wasn’t the only battle she faced.

Every baby whose life is ended by abortion is a human life — one with incredible potential to change our world. But each one needs someone to speak for them. YOU are their only hope.

One of our Florida field directors was rear-ended Friday night while at a stoplight. With her car totaled, her neck in a brace, with the help of a cane, Ingrid was undeterred as she called upon the Lord for strength and continued to urge voters to vote for life.

In less than a week, we will vote on life, the president of the United States, and the balance of power in Congress. Sen. Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) priority is to push murder nationwide! Tell Congress: VOTE NO on HR 12, the so-called “Women’s Health Protection Act of 2023” that would force abortion on every state during this lame duck session.

The next battle Melissa faced, as a premature newborn, was that this 8-month, 3-pound little baby was abandoned to die, alone in a garbage bin filled with “medical waste” … until a nurse took pity on her.

Melissa’s birth mother didn’t even know her baby had survived, and finding out decades later was a shocking revelation.

Melissa later learned her grandmother held a high-level position at the hospital and pressured Melissa’s mother to have the abortion. This grandmother openly discussed with her family members that she was the one who told her co-workers to “leave the baby in the room to die.”

Thankfully, a nurse heard baby Melissa’s weak cries and found her because of slight movements among what was designated as trash.

The nurse raced to get Melissa to an intensive care unit. And thanks to her intervention, Melissa survived and thrived in an adopted family. But children both inside and outside of the womb deserve to live.

The margins are very thin in Congress, and they are very close to passing the most extreme abortion bill imaginable. I urge you to flood Congress with faxes to support the 60-vote filibuster rule and oppose HR 12 — which would allow abortion up to birth.

We now have an opportunity to block this abortion, HR 12. Urge every member of the Senate to support this bill with your critical faxes protecting the lives of these babies!
 

For children who are earmarked for abortion, lawyers from the California attorney general’s office even let slip during their case against my client Sandra Merritt that not only abortion but infanticide is acceptable — even legal — in the state of California!

At no age should murder be acceptable! Yet, this is the level of absolute evil that we are fighting on a daily basis. Melissa is far from alone. Her organization compiled information that 85,817 children have survived abortion. While this is shocking, the true heartbreak is much greater in the 66 million children who have already died in America from abortion after Roe v. Wade.

Now those in Congress want to push abortion up to birth through HR 12. And to get this passed, they are even willing to destroy the filibuster (60-vote rule) in the U.S. Senate. If the filibuster were abolished, nothing would stop the radical agenda between now and the end of the year (LGBTQ, D.C. as a state, and so much more).

I urge you to make your voice heard in this battle for these innocent children. Send an urgent fax to the Senate demanding the members not abolish the filibuster rule and vote against HR 12.

Abortion never impacts just one person. This violence also reaches into the very soul of the mother and the father. Oftentimes it consumes the father, siblings, a surviving twin, and grandparents, and all of society is harmed. But no one suffers more than the child who is being brutally murdered.
