Stop the Bad Policies Behind the Fires

Jan 10, 2025

Bill Gates is working on multiple fronts to reduce CO2 emissions to zero. On the surface, this might sound like a good idea — until you see the dangerous ways Gates pursues his mission. His multipronged approach includes reducing human (and certain animal) populations, employing vaccines, and geoengineering the atmosphere and the food supply.

One of his targets is grassland. His experiments can be catastrophic, like we’ve seen in Hawaii and now California.

This grassland cycle is critically important to our environment.

Like we need oxygen, plants need carbon dioxide.

Gates just gave 40 million dollars to a 2-year-old company called Deep Sky to suck carbon dioxide out of the air and “store” it in the ground. Deep Sky CEO Damien Steel said, “We need to prove that this stuff works.” But if it does, it will be duplicating the process that grass already does naturally. We have no idea the unintended consequences.

Congress needs to hold hearings and impose a moratorium on the experimental geoengineering of Bill Gates before it’s too late.

Send your faxes to Congress to hold hearings and stop Bill Gates and others before it’s too late.

Animal grazing creates a critical disturbance that extends the plant’s growing phase. During this growth phase, native grasses and plants pull carbon from the air, transmitting the carbon into roots, in some cases up to 15 feet below the surface. Those roots act like a highway transporting carbon from the air into the soil where it becomes food necessary for the hundreds of billions of microbials (bacteria, fungi, etc.) teeming under the surface.

The grass and plants create oxygen and forage above ground for the cows and other grazing animals to continue the cycle. Additionally, these microbials and roots break up the soil so that rain can penetrate the surface instead of running off and causing massive erosion.

Grazers are both critical and necessary for this healthy cycle to continue; however, Bill Gates is trying to alter the natural cycle that is just as important as the water cycle to our planet thriving. Eliminating cows (which Gates wants to do), like ceasing controlled burns (which Gates also wants to do), not only interrupts this natural cycle, but as we’ve seen in Hawaii and now Los Angeles, the results are catastrophic.

Urge Congress to stop Bill Gates and these geoengineering efforts before it’s too late.

This carbon-sink cycle is already facing challenges! In fact, experts warn that native grasslands “deserve far more recognition” than forests for their ability to mitigate changes to our environment. Grasslands store the carbon deep underground, where it is less at risk of fires reintroducing it to our atmosphere and can recover much quicker.

However, every year an average of “2 million acres of United States’ grassland and sagebrush shrublands are lost or degraded” to farming, urbanization, or encroachment. In addition, in the last five years, we have seen cattle numbers in the U.S. drop by nearly 10%.

But don’t expect Bill Gates to admit that he just dropped 40 million dollars on something that cows and grass will do for free.

These wild experiments could damage the planet with unknown and catastrophic consequences.

Together, we must fight back. Send your urgent faxes urging Congress to fully investigate and halt these experiments that can have permanent, catastrophic consequences.

Eighty to ninety percent of what a cow eats is returned to the soil as natural fertilizer and moisture. This provides the plants with everything they need for the next growing cycle to thrive and transform even more carbon dioxide into oxygen. But this is exactly what Bill Gates is fighting to stop.

Methane breaks down to carbon dioxide and water in about 12 years; carbon dioxide takes thousands of years to break down. Plants and animals recycle it into water and oxygen for free! Without animals actively consuming grass and stimulating growth, this natural cycle is interrupted.

Many well-intentioned people have tried to “protect” grassland by not allowing animals to graze. The grass health declines, growth slows down, the soil hardens, causing erosion when it rains. Microbial life dies, and within 10 years, the land becomes unproductive. Cows and other grazers arrest this destruction and restore a healthy cycle.

We cannot have people tinkering with the environment who have no idea what they are doing and are clueless as to what mess they will cause! I urge you to demand that Congress stop these so-called geoengineering experiments.

We cannot have Bill Gates messing up our environment with ballons to block the sun, mosquitoes genetically modified to vaccinate us without consent, and countless other experiments, the consequences of which can be catastrophic.
