Advancing Life and Liberty Through Action

Yesterday, the U.S. House passed the “No Rogue Rulings Act” (NORRA). This bill is designed to stop judges from exceeding their authority by issuing nationwide injunctions that apply to parties not before the court.
From the deportation of criminals, to cutting wasteful spending, to reducing unnecessary staff in Washington D.C., to ending the foreign funding of terror, DEI, LGBTQ, and much more, some judges have usurped the authority of the president.
NORRA will limit the ability of federal district judges to issue nationwide injunctions that have repeatedly obstructed President Trump's executive actions and, by extension, the will of the voters.
Now this battle is heating up in the U.S. Senate. President Trump has already said he will sign it, but now we just need to get this through the Senate. The Senate needs to hear from a flood of voters demanding they rein in these out-of-control judges. Our team urgently needs your support to ensure this legislation becomes law.
Urge Congress to end nationwide injunctions and those that extend beyond the parties to the case.
The Crisis of Judicial Overreach
Unelected federal judges have increasingly issued sweeping nationwide injunctions, effectively halting executive actions and undermining the Republic. Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA), the sponsor of NORRA, emphasized that such actions “undermine the system of government” and empower individual judges to “dictate national policy” on the House floor during debate.
In the last 10 years, this current trend “empowers individual, unelected judges to dictate national policy and to thwart the Constitution to take rights reserved to Congress and the president of the United States,” Issa warned.
Everything that people voted for is on the line right now.
This includes halting efforts to eliminate discriminatory diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs and increasing military readiness by keeping gender confused individuals out of the military.
We are witnessing a constitutional crisis — a “judicial coup d'état” — where the judiciary encroaches upon the rightful powers of the executive branch. The House has acted to address this crisis, but without your support, this vital reform may stall in the Senate.
HR 1526 will limit the reach of these injunctions. A single judge should not be able to have such far-reaching power. Tell the U.S. Senate to act now.
The Urgency of Senate Action
The passage of NORRA in the House is just the first step. The Senate must now take up this bill, and the senators need to hear from you. The passage of NORRA in the House is a significant achievement, but the battle is far from over. This bill faces a challenging path in the Senate, where it must secure sufficient support to overcome procedural hurdles.
Senators Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Chuck Grassley (R-IO) have introduced complementary measures aimed at curbing judicial overreach, reflecting a broader recognition of the issue within the legislative branch.
However, the Senate's 60-vote threshold for passage means that we need bipartisan support. Without concerted pressure from constituents like you, this critical legislation may languish, allowing the current state of judicial overreach to persist.
