Keisha Atkins was just 23 years old when she walked into Southwestern Women’s Options (SWO), the largest late-term abortion facility in the United States. Her baby was significantly past the point of viability.

Neither of them survived.

Keisha died four days into a grueling multi-day abortion procedure. When she showed clear signs of sepsis — a deadly infection — the abortionists at SWO didn’t rush her to the hospital. They told her to stay away from the ER, which she did — until it was too late. The clinic was more concerned about protecting its image than saving her life.

These abortion clinics raked in hundreds of millions of our tax dollars last year. Right now, in Washington, D.C., lawmakers are working to push through a large spending bill — some legislators on Capitol Hill want to continue funneling your tax dollars straight into the pockets of Big Abortion providers like SWO and Planned Parenthood.

If they succeed, Planned Parenthood and other abortion giants will continue to receive hundreds of millions of dollars while skirting health inspections, hiding abuses, killing women and children, and padding their war chests.

They don’t need our tax dollars and they don’t deserve them! Urge Congress to stop funding Big Abortion.

Sadly, Keisha’s story is just one horrifying example among many. This same clinic has a long history of life-threatening failures.

Since 2008, at least 36 women have been rushed from this same Southwestern Women’s Options facility to the emergency room. These are the incidents we know about — cases that involved ambulance transport, flashing lights, and visible panic.

Among those horrifying cases:

A woman suffered a uterine rupture at 35 weeks.

• Another arrived at the ER with a 104-degree fever — classic symptoms of sepsis.

• One young woman was hemorrhaging so badly that she was barely conscious when EMTs arrived.

• The abortionists will call Uber to hide medical emergencies and reporting.

• The so-called “women’s health” abortion industry refuses basic standards to stop women from dying. For example, California has 158 laws with standards for veterinarians ... but no standards for women in abortion clinics. How is this “pro-women?”

 It’s abuse — and it’s happening in the shadows of our own backyards — and we are paying for it! Demand that Congress act now to end our taxpayer dollars to those killing women and children.

The most chilling truth of all: We have NO IDEA what’s happening behind the closed doors of most abortion clinics.

According to a nationwide investigation, a staggering 92% of abortion facilities were not inspected in 2022. That means the overwhelming majority of these so-called “health care centers” operate in complete secrecy — no oversight, no accountability, and no consequences.

In 40 states, either there are no requirements to inspect abortion facilities regularly or the state simply didn’t bother to do it.

The horrors revealed in the tiny fraction of clinics that did get inspected?

• Clinics store fetal remains next to medical supplies and lunchroom refrigerators.

• Blood on the walls, ceilings, tables, and even on the “new” gowns being handed to the next patient.

• Staff not washing their hands between patients.

• Dirty, bloodstained, and unsterilized surgical tools that were being reused from one patient to the next.

• Expired medications, untrained staff, and no emergency equipment.

If this is what investigators found at the 8% of clinics that were inspected, imagine what’s happening in the other 92%. Let that sink in: There are around 765 abortion clinics in America (as of 2023). More than 700 abortion clinics go a year — or more — without a single health inspection. They get a free pass ... or actually a pass paid for by us taxpayers!
