Big, Beautiful Bill Enters Final Phase

As we enter the final lap to pass the Big, Beautiful Bill, the U.S. Senate Parliamentarian just ruled that some of the funding provisions must get 60 votes to pass.

Republicans hold 53 senate seats. If that ruling stands, this 60-vote threshold means that some of the provisions to which the ruling applies may have to be removed or amended. This last-minute development will make the budget debate even more contentious.

We are at a critical point in the budget debate. Act NOW. Congress needs to hear from you.

The Senate Parliamentarian’s rule specifically directs that cuts to government financial regulators (like the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) violate reconciliation rules. If that rule stands, to pass this bill by a simple majority vote, that section may have to be removed.

And whatever provisions differ in the Senate bill must return to the House for a reconciliation vote. We have come a long way and are nearing the end. But this battle will heat up the closer we get to a final vote. That’s why it is critical that we do not let up now.

Every day that passes there are more people walking into abortion clinics, and our tax dollars continue to fund the killing through Medicaid and Title X funding.

And it gets worse. Over 56% of women walking into a Planned Parenthood clinic are using taxpayer funds.

We are paying for this human slaughter.

And unless we pass this budget in the Senate, you’ll keep paying.

The horrifying reality is this: If we lose just a handful of Republican Senators — if they cave to pressure, compromise, or cower — Big Abortion wins.

If you’ve followed these debates over the years, you know how it goes:

• A deal is cut behind closed doors.
• Language is softened.
• One provision after another is thrown overboard.
• The pro-life movement is told, “Wait for the next round.”

Meanwhile, millions of babies lose their lives. Women are harmed, and some are killed. We all suffer. And Planned Parenthood cashes another government check.

This time must be different.

But we cannot hold the line without your help. We need a flood of faxes into Congress — TODAY.

Time is running out. We must not let the defunding of Planned Parenthood be removed from this bill.

And if we don’t stand up now ... who will?
