Last-Minute Changes Rushing Through the Senate

Jun 26, 2025

GOP still hasn’t unified behind the budget

The Senate parliamentarian just made the outlandish suggestion that it is not relevant to our budget process to end federal subsidies for insurance plans that include abortion coverage. This is part of a “cost sharing reduction” (CSR). There are a shocking number of ways that our tax dollars end up flowing through these deadly corporations and into the pockets of abortionists.

How it is that Congress cannot decide to stop spending our tax dollars to pay for the killing of children blows our minds! Our team is on Capitol Hill working right now to put pressure on the Senate to move forward with this bill and end the free flow of money to abortionists. But we need your help in these final moments of intense negotiations.

“We've got a lot of stuff to work out, and the bill will be changed on the floor,” warned Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA). He concluded: “I think we'll eventually pass something. I just can't tell you when.”

Let that sink in. The most important budget vote in 10 years — the one that could completely defund Planned Parenthood and all major abortion clinics — is being carved up and reshaped in backroom negotiations right now. We are one Senate deal away from either 10 years of victory — or betrayal.

This means that the Senate floor vote could come just minutes after an agreement is reached (that is, as of yet, still unknown), and there is no guarantee that this agreement will include the promise to defund abortion clinics.

That’s why your voice is crucial today. Rush a FAX to the Senate right now and demand they HOLD THE LINE and KEEP the abortion funding ban in this bill.

Originally, the Senate was set to vote today on the “Big Beautiful Bill” — President Trump’s 2026 budget blueprint that would strip abortion vendors of their 15 billion-dollar taxpayer lifeline projected over the next 10 years. This would have been an insanely quick turnaround time after a final parliamentarian decision.

But last night, negotiations stalled. Parliamentarian guidance didn’t come in time. And the GOP still hasn’t unified behind the bill.

Now, everything’s in flux. The vote could happen tomorrow. Or Monday. Or even tonight. And the biggest danger is that Senate negotiators could quietly gut the defunding provision just to get something passed before summer recess.

On Truth Social, President Trump demanded they hold the line:

“To my friends in the Senate: Lock yourself in a room if you must, don’t go home, and GET THE DEAL DONE THIS WEEK. Work with the House so they can pick it up and pass it IMMEDIATELY. NO ONE GOES ON VACATION UNTIL IT’S DONE. Everyone—most importantly the American People—will be much better off thanks to our work together.”

He’s right. This bill could end all federal abortion funding for a decade. But only if conservatives in the Senate stop compromising and start listening to the people who sent them there.

Too many Republicans are treating this budget like just another must-pass funding bill. But this isn’t just about the 2026 fiscal year. This is about defunding Big Abortion for the next 10 years — a full decade of relief for the unborn and for taxpayers.

Senators know how high the stakes are. That’s why radicals are using delay tactics, and throwing sand in the gears, and starting fights. They’re stalling — while Republicans are negotiating and rewriting this budget bill on the fly.

Make sure they know your priorities are to protect innocent life and END the use our tax dollars to support those who are ending the lives of these little children.

They’re feeling the pressure. The only question is whether that pressure comes from voters like you — or from lobbyists and abortion industry PACs.

We admit the budget process is messy — but it is EXACTLY what Congress is hired to do. It is the single most formative action that it can take and sets the tone to follow or fight for the next year ... or 10 years, in this case, of defunding Planned Parenthood and clinics that commit abortions.

Sen. Kennedy’s warning that “the bill will be changed on the floor” isn’t just a prediction — it’s a signal that the defunding language or anything else in the bill — is still at risk. It’s all up in the air.

You must act now. Click here to send your faxes to the Senate before it’s too late.

This week’s budget vote will set the tone for the rest of the year — and the next decade. We cannot allow Planned Parenthood to keep draining 15 billion dollars from taxpayers to kill helpless children.
