This is abuse — not health care
“I speak to you today as a victim of one of the biggest medical scandals in the history of the United States of America,” Chloe Cole told Congress. “I speak to you in the hope that you will have the courage to bring the scandal to an end, and ensure that other vulnerable teenagers, children, and young adults don’t go through what I went through.”
It was Chloe’s 19th birthday. She should have been hanging out with family and friends, but instead, she was sitting before a U.S. House Committee with tears in her eyes giving a chilling warning to members about the “trans” craze and what those surgeries and so-called “treatments” stole from her.
We will spare you the grotesque descriptions of what these children have endured. It’s time to stop child abuse. Please rush your urgent faxes to support the Chloe Cole Act. It will stop the mutilation of children. Urge Congress to pass HR 5483/S 2907 immediately.
At age 12, Chloe told her parents she identified as a “boy.” They immediately sought expert advice. “They asked my parents a simple question: Would you rather have a dead daughter or a living transgender son?”
“The choice was enough for my parents to let their guard down, and in retrospect, I can't blame them. This is the moment that we all became victims of so-called gender-affirming care,” Chloe shared under oath.
“I was fast-tracked onto puberty blockers and then testosterone. The resulting menopausal-like hot flashes made focusing on school impossible. I still get joint pains and weird pops in my back … A month later, when I was 13, I had my first testosterone injection. It has caused permanent changes in my body. My voice will forever be deeper, my jawline sharper, my nose longer, my bone structure permanently masculinized, my Adam's apple more prominent, my fertility unknown.”
While this was only the beginning of Chloe’s serious problems, her story should be enough to stop this from happening to other young impressionable children … except for the fact that LGBTQ radicals are pressuring Congress.
When President Trump promoted this legislation during the State of the Union address, Democrats sat in stoney silence. Speak up for Chloe and others like her. Urge Congress to protect children by passing the Chloe Cole Act.
Chloe continued: “I look in the mirror sometimes, and I feel like a monster. I had a double mastectomy at 15. They tested my amputated breasts for cancer. That was cancer-free, of course. I was perfectly healthy. There is nothing wrong with my still-developing body or my breasts other than that, as an insecure teenage girl, I felt awkward about it.” And there are still many complications and problems today.
The damage done to Chloe’s body is horrific and abusive. And shockingly, it is still legal in many states. Chloe shared, “At 16, after my surgery, I did become suicidal. I'm doing better now, but my parents almost got the dead daughter promised to them by my doctors. My doctor had almost created the very nightmare they said they were trying to avoid.”
These dangerous drugs and surgeries need to be banned from use on the bodies of healthy children. Make your voice heard on Capitol Hill to protect children like Chloe. Send your faxes immediately to help us fight to stop this child abuse.
“What message do I want to bring to American teenagers and their families?” Chloe asked.
“I didn't need to be lied to. I needed compassion. I needed to be loved. I needed to be given therapy that helped me work through my issues, not affirm my delusion that by transforming into a boy, it would solve all my problems. We need to stop telling 12-year-olds that they were born wrong,” she boldly stated. Tell Congress that NO ONE IS BORN WRONG.
The truth is that 100% of all “gender reassignment surgeries” fail! Every single time.
No one can become a different gender. There are about 6,500 known genetic differences on a cellular level between boys and girls, and no number of surgeries will change this biological fact. You can hurt or maim a girl or a boy, but you cannot change them into something they are not.
We cannot remain silent. Throw off the muzzle and speak with truth and love. Tell these kids they are loved just the way they are. They don’t have to cut themselves to find peace, nor do they have to spend a quarter of a million dollars (or up to 1 million dollars when complications arise) to chase something that is impossible. Urge Congress to pass the Chloe Cole Act and stand with this brave girl facing unbelievable hate just for telling the truth. Don’t let her stand alone in supporting this bill.
Our team in Washington, D.C., is in contact with members of Congress, and we are working to amplify your faxes to them today. But we are facing down one of the most powerful lobbies in D.C. right now. We need your help today by starting a recurring gift or sending a single gift to fight for girls like Chloe to know the truth and get the help they need. Support Liberty Counsel Action today.
I am grateful for the privilege of serving you and other concerned patriots on Capitol Hill. Thank you for standing with us!
Sincerely,
Mat Staver, Chairman
