The SAVE America Act would require proof of citizenship and a voter ID to vote in federal elections. These simple safeguards are already required for many basic transactions in daily life — but incredibly, they are not universally required for voting.

And here is the sobering reality:

The 2020 presidential election remains suspect. If Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin had flipped, the presidential election would have. Yet in those states, there were less than 44,000 total votes separating Trump and Biden. If just 21,461 votes across key swing states would have flipped, that would have ended in a 269–269 Electoral College tie.

Now we are faced with 28 MILLION voter registrations that appear to be fake. And while there could be multiple reasons for some of these mismatches — data entry errors, name changes, and other factors.

But if even less than 1% of those were fake registrations, if even 0.152% were fraudulent, then that could be enough to swing a presidential election.

That means even small vulnerabilities in the system can have massive consequences.

Your voice is desperately needed on Capitol Hill to push this bill forward and get every vote possible. This is an uphill battle, and we need every voice possible to echo down the halls of the Senate.

What is common sense for us appears hard to grasp for legislators in D.C. There are very serious concerns that have surfaced regarding voting practices. One recent survey of mail-in voters reported that:

• Seventeen percent admitted they voted in a state where they were no longer a permanent resident.

• Twenty-one percent admitted they filled out a ballot for a friend or family member.

• Seventeen percent said they signed a ballot for someone else, with or without permission.

• Eight percent said they were offered pay or a reward for voting.

Even if only a fraction of these claims are real violations, the implications are serious. This is exactly why the SAVE America Act needs your help to get past the Senate.
