URGENT: Bill to stop abortion Drugs In Our Water

Mar 23, 2026

This is both alarming and hopeful

For years now, Liberty Counsel Action has been warning about a shocking reality that most Americans have never heard about.

Chemical abortion drugs are entering our water supply.

But for months, there has been little anyone could do about it!

Now Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL) has introduced a bill to end this dangerous pollution of our nation’s water supply. The “Clean Water for All Life Act” would demand “physically examining the patient” before prescribing these deadly pills and “being physically present at the location of the chemical abortion” or “providing a catch kit and red bag medical waste, including instructions for the patient to bring such kit and bag to the healthcare provider for proper disposal.”

Doctors and clinics violating this requirement would face up to five years in prison and/or up to 50,000 dollars in fines.

This would have a powerful impact on both protecting our water supply and targeting and reducing the staggering number of mail-in murders of children across our nation.

This is why Liberty Counsel Action launched the Abortion in Our Water campaign — to educate Congress and launch this bill. But we cannot be one voice on Capitol Hill to pass this in the face of the abortion lobby. Right now, it is very time sensitive for Congress to have a flood of faxes welcoming this bill to the calendar. This is the moment we urgently need your help to fax as many legislators as possible.

Every time a woman takes the deadly abortion drug mifepristone followed by misoprostol, their powerful pharmaceutical compounds do not simply vanish. The body excretes these drugs, and they pass into our sewage systems. From there, these drugs enter wastewater treatment facilities that were never designed to filter out human remains, much less complex pharmaceutical hormones and abortion compounds.

These drugs can make their way into rivers, lakes, and municipal drinking water systems at unknown levels. But God has opened many doors, thanks to your support.

First, a remarkable “divine appointment” happened for our staff.

One of our team members, Abigail, unexpectedly encountered Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at Reagan National Airport. She seized the moment and personally handed him Liberty Counsel Action’s 90-page research report documenting the dangers of abortion drugs contaminating water systems.

She asked him to review the evidence.

And he agreed.

Moments like that remind us that God can open doors when faithful citizens step forward with courage.

But the story gets even more encouraging. The Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) report on children now includes language urging the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to study pharmaceuticals in our water supply.

That language is critical. And it is there because our team personally met directly with top White House officials and requested it!

Because once federal agencies begin studying the issue, the truth about abortion drugs in our wastewater can be exposed. And Congress can no longer sweep this under the rug and ignore it.

Hold Congress accountable to take action with your faxes now.

The momentum continues to build.

Later in May, the president of the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA) invited John Stemberger, President of Liberty Counsel Action to teach a Continuing Legal Education session on Abortion in Our Water at its national convention.

This event will equip pro-life attorneys and pregnancy resource center leaders from across America with the legal tools to address the issue in their states and communities.

And perhaps most exciting of all, we are working with key players to hold a hearing later this year that could expose the truth about abortion drug contamination to the entire nation. But meetings and hearings are not enough to stop these drugs from flowing.

For the first time, these federal lawmakers could formally examine the evidence about abortion chemicals entering America’s water systems.

But this battle won’t be easy. These manufacturers do not want a spotlight on this concern, and many legislators do not want to let this “genie” of information out of the bottle.

But here is the reality we must face.

The abortion industry will fight this issue with everything it has.

They know if the American people learn the truth about how abortion drugs could be contaminating water systems at toxic levels, public support for chemical abortion could collapse overnight.

That is why Liberty Counsel Action must continue pressing forward.

  • Investigating the science.

  • Equipping lawmakers.

  • Mobilizing citizens.

  • And bringing the truth into the open.

But this campaign requires resources. Research reports must be produced and fact checked. Scientists and legal experts must be consulted. National leaders must be engaged.
