Is a cat voting in this election?

New undercover footage from Los Angeles shows the homeless on skid row being handed a list of names — names of real people along with real addresses of registered voters in California — so they can sign a ballot petition. These homeless are urged to sign, then are paid for their illegal actions — forging signatures, copying identities, and following what they’re told to write.

“Your name’s Robert.”

“You only write what I tell you to write … If you mess up, I can’t get paid.”

Another undercover woman is asked, “Do you want to sign?”

She is directed to use the name and address at the top of the list. After reading it, she says, “I’m Joseph Albright? … OK.”

List after list of real names and addresses are handed out to these homeless … and it’s all caught on tape. This is voter fraud!

And right now, the pressure to kill the SAVE America Act is intense.

Why?

Because this bill threatens the very chaos that one party depends on to win. Our current system is dysfunctional and vulnerable.

On the video, one person whose name was illegally used was heard asking, “Is there any way to stop this?”

There is a way to stop this.

The SAVE America Act requiring a photo ID to vote already passed the House. But now it is trapped in the Senate, where leadership has put forward a lackluster effort to pass it. They could reinstate the talking filibuster and pass this bill now.

President Trump has called this legislation his top priority and has publicly demanded action. Senate Republicans have launched a high-profile floor fight over it. Yet even with all that pressure, this vote is still hanging in the balance.

Because while Washington debates “messaging,” the machinery of election abuse and fraud keeps running. That means your faxes right now could matter more than ever.

When Americans ask for voter ID, they are called “dangerous.”

When they ask for citizenship verification, they are called “extreme.”

When they ask for clean voter rolls, chain of custody, or honest enforcement, they are told to sit down and be quiet.

One resident at one of the listed addresses said the named voter had not lived there for almost a decade, yet election mail was still arriving. There was so much mail that the residents named a feral cat “Vicky Walker,” which was the name on a petition used by the homeless.
