The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act now includes Section 1101, under Title XI, with the Central Bank Digital Currency.

A CBDC gives the federal government absolute veto power over your money — and, thus, over your very existence.

A government-controlled digital money system will put our government in control of every aspect of your life. We cannot let that happen.

A CBDC will allow the government-run central bank to monitor and control everyone. If the government wants people to spend, a CBDC can implement a “negative interest rate,” meaning the longer your money remains in savings, the more the government deducts your savings.

Green policies can limit the kind of vehicle you drive and how many miles you are permitted to drive. Reparations would be easily accomplished with a CBDC. Money can be deducted from your account and given to another.

Remember what Canada did to the truckers by seizing and freezing their money? The bank accounts of truckers and many who financially supported them were shut down. If the federal government had CBDCs, your contributions could be stopped, and your attendance at a rally or even a church could be halted by freezing your accounts.

This is what Congress is slipping through. Not on its own merits but hidden in another housing bill. Urge Congress to do everything in its power to permanently block a federal, government-run CBDC.

The G7 Summit met last week, and CBDCs have been a past topic, including how to force smaller countries to adopt digital currencies.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) likes digital programmable currency so it can shape “the future.” WEF says this platform “accelerates reform.” It wants to push the world to a socialist model by 2030 where the government owns everything and you own nothing.

WEF then claims that one of the biggest problems is “uneven” global growth. It is working to inform “dynamic, inclusive and sustainable trade.” (emphasis added)

WEF wants a “new agenda that can move faster,” said Richard Samans, who was the Forum’s managing director.

Not to be left behind, the World Trade Organization states that it is looking into a “rapid adoption” of digital currency so it can promote an “inclusive future,” which is code for communistic redistribution.

These globalists want to control you — by controlling your money.
