Advancing Life and Liberty Through Action

Life and Liberty Except for These

Jul 4, 2026

America’s 250th birthday present? Abortion funding.

Today — 250 years ago — brave men gathered in a sweltering room in Philadelphia and declared that human rights do not come from kings, politicians, or governments.

Our rights come directly from God — the unalienable right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

The delegates were exhausted after days of arguments and seemingly endless revisions. British spies were everywhere. The Continental Army was ragtag and sorely lacked critical supplies. The colonies had no guarantee of victory, and no assurance that all 13 of them would remain united.

The men in that room knew Great Britain would consider their actions treason, punishable by death.

They were risking their fortunes.

Their freedom.

And their lives — to protect the lives of future generations.

Today, America celebrates 250 years of freedom since that Declaration. However, on this very same day, federal funding can begin flowing back to Planned Parenthood and other big abortion providers.

That is not what our Founding Fathers envisioned. Fax Congress now. Tell lawmakers to honor America’s founding promise by permanently defunding Planned Parenthood and every abortion provider.

A year ago today, President Trump signed legislation blocking certain federal Medicaid payments to Planned Parenthood and other large abortion providers.

But Congress made that taxpayer protection temporary. And it expired today on July 4.

That means the largest abortion provider in America can once again tap the federal treasury — funded by taxpayers who deeply oppose the destruction of unborn children.

What a tragic contradiction!

On the day we celebrate a document that begins with the Creator-given right to life, Washington is preparing to restore taxpayer funding to an organization built around ending life before birth.

The Founders declared that government exists to secure God-given rights.

Planned Parenthood destroys the most fundamental right.

This is our moment of conscience. The men who gathered in Philadelphia did not wait for perfect circumstances. They did not shrug and say the political risks were too great. Nor did they declare that freedom was important but the cost was too high.

There are moments when delay equals surrender. And right now, our nation is facing another one of those moments.

Send urgent faxes to your Senators and Representatives. Demand that Congress permanently end federal funding for Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood is no ordinary medical provider. It is an abortion corporation with a powerful political arm that spends enormous resources electing candidates who will protect and expand abortion.

There is no legitimate reason to send one more taxpayer dollar to Planned Parenthood. Our government should never force Americans to subsidize an organization that works to defeat their values, undermine pro-life laws, and end the lives of unborn children.

There are thousands of community health centers that provide women with genuine medical care without performing abortions.

Yet, knowing this and knowing that this deadline was coming, senators did very little for an entire year.

They introduced proposals. They gave speeches. They promised that permanent defunding would be addressed in a later reconciliation bill. We warned them that they didn’t have time for a later one.

We were right.

Promises do not defund Planned Parenthood. Press releases do not save unborn children.

Only action defunding these groups will save children.

Flood Capitol Hill with faxes today. Tell Congress with your faxes today: No extensions, no excuses, and no more taxpayer funding for Big Abortion.

America’s first 250 years began with a declaration.

Let the next 250 begin with another:

Not one more taxpayer dollar for Planned Parenthood. Let’s do what we say. Let us defend the right to Life.
