He worked behind the scenes to restore taxpayer funding connected to coronavirus gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And he conspired to hide the evidence that the virus originated at this CCP-connected lab. 

Dr. David Morens — who served for years as a senior adviser at Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) — has pleaded guilty to a federal conspiracy. 

Morens admitted the conspirators intentionally used his private Gmail account to hide communications from Freedom of Information Act requests. They exchanged non-public NIH information, worked to influence NIH funding decisions and “back-channel[ed]” information to a senior NIAID official. 

There’s more. This is just the first taste of accountability. Americans were told to trust the system while people inside that system were secretly working to control what Americans could see.  

The bigger problem is the sweeping immunity Big Pharma enjoys. Their bank accounts overflow while injured families struggle to get compensation. And vaccine-injury claims are not limited to COVID shots. Big Pharma has a free pass: enormous profits with extraordinarily limited accountability. For years, Americans were told to trust the experts. 

The Department of Justice says that after the government terminated the “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence” grant — which sent taxpayer funding through EcoHealth Alliance to the Wuhan Institute of Virology — Morens and others pledged to reverse that termination. 

Morens and his co-conspirators worked to “counter the narrative that COVID-19 leaked from a lab.” After receiving a gift of wine for his so-called “behind-the-scenes shenanigans,” to “deserve” the gift, Morens wrote a scientific commentary advocating that COVID-19 had natural origins. 

But while Washington insiders protected themselves, another group received extraordinary protection: 

The vaccine manufacturers. 

A father in a Chicago suburb says their daughter’s life dramatically changed after childhood vaccinations — and not just the COVID ones.  

She was 15 months old when she received the MMR, DTaP, and several other shots. Her family reports that within hours she developed an extreme fever. When the fever broke days later, they say she could no longer speak as before, stopped making eye contact, and did not want to be touched. 

She was later diagnosed with severe autism and bowel disease. 

Today, she needs intensive care around the clock, while her family has struggled financially for years. 

In contrast, vaccine manufacturers enjoy sweeping federal liability protections that make it extraordinarily difficult for injured families to take manufacturers to court.
