Can we reverse this deadly lie?

We were told the abortion pill was “safe.”

That was a lie.

An Ethics and Publics Policy Center (EPPC) study of more than 800,000 women found serious complications from the abortion pill are 22 times higher than what was originally reported by the Food and Drug Administration.

Now, the president has nominated Dr. Heidi Overton to lead the FDA. She is deeply concerned about the abortion pill (mifepristone) and the harms it causes.

The FDA approved mifepristone and did away with the in-person requirements for obtaining it. There is no reason this drug should be shipped across the nation without a single in-person consultation, putting women at a much greater risk from this dangerous drug. Any requirement for an in-person consultation will greatly reduce the number of abortion pills being distributed.

We are facing a moral crisis, a public health disaster, and growing environmental concerns about the pollutants from these long-lasting chemicals. The best way to reduce or eliminate these complications and deaths is to put someone in charge of the FDA who shares our concerns with the power to investigate, regulate, and/or eliminate these problems.

Send as many faxes as possible to the Senate to urge them to support Dr. Overton's nomination to lead the FDA.

The EPPC study’s lead author said, “The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has misled the American people... Chemical abortion is a medical crisis.”

Dr. James Studnicki researched the abortion pill from 2017 to 2023 and published the shocking new study encompassing a total of 865,727 prescriptions for mifepristone abortion. His work tracked serious injuries, including sepsis, infection, hemorrhaging, or another serious adverse event, that happened within 45 days to nearly 11% of girls and women who took the abortion pill.

Previous studies mistakenly claimed it was less than 0.5% total.

These pills caused almost 41,000 emergency room visits as part of the 94,605 total complications. And that’s only the beginning of the nightmare.

For ectopic pregnancies, this chemical is not just deadly to the baby but deadly for the mom as well. In the current procedure approved by the FDA, there are no safeguards protecting women with these types of pregnancies.

Overton has already objected. An article she co-wrote warned about the rise of tele-abortion and argued that women should receive an in-person medical evaluation before receiving chemical-abortion drugs.

And she did not mince words about why this mattered. Overton wrote: “Abortion is corrosive to children, women, and society broadly because it devalues and extinguishes innocent human life.”

Now, President Trump has nominated Overton, a pro-life M.D. who is critical of the abortion pill, to become commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration.

Urge the Senate to confirm her now by sending as many faxes as possible today. 

After taking the two-pill chemical abortion regimen, many women see their unborn child, once expelled from their body. And then they flush their aborted babies down the toilet. Those remains, along with highly active chemical metabolites from the abortion drugs, are entering our water reserves.

About 5 to 6 million babies have been killed by chemical abortion since the abortion pill's approval in 2000, and these pills are constantly flowing into our nation’s water system. That means an enormous amount of chemically tainted human tissue enters wastewater systems every year.   

• Waterways contaminated with human tissue and abortion chemicals.  
• Wastewater plants unequipped to remove all pharmaceutical contaminants. 
• Active long-action pharmaceutical residues making it back into our drinking water.  

And yet, thus far, the FDA has done nothing. The Senate has done next to nothing. But Dr. Overton could change all of that.

Her confirmation is already being delayed. If we don't act immediately to support her, it is likely that her stance on abortion could block her confirmation from happening and allow the regulation-free shipping of abortion pills nationwide.
