Thin Margin Means This Could Pass

With the thinning margin in the House and Senate, the radical “Equality Act” has its best chance of passing

The so-called “Equality Act” (HR 15) is sitting in both the U.S. House and the Senate. It can be pulled up for a vote at any moment. That is exactly how these radical bills move. They sit quietly. They gather pressure. And then, suddenly, leadership brings it forward, or individual legislators crack and break and do an end run around leadership or slide the language into another must-pass bill. With the Republican majority in the House shrinking, it would take only a handful of defections for it to surge ahead.

These legislators need to hear from you. You are our best line of defense against the greatest attack on religious freedom our nation has ever seen. This is much more than a horrific threat to religious liberty; this is a full assault against you and every person and institution. This bill is designed to elevate the LGBT & Q agenda, make abortion an undeniable federal right, and punish anyone who will not promote or participate in it.

Rush your urgent faxes to Congress to stop the Equality Act.

The misnamed “Equality Act” is the most dangerous ambush of religious freedom.

The "Q" in LGBTQ includes about 550 sexually deviate paraphilias—including pedophilia that will become a protected class under this bill!

Cosmopolitan states: “Queerness is an umbrella term that is both an orientation and a community. ... The vagueness of the term is intentional— queer is an identity created for anyone outside of the heterosexual norm and meant to be inclusive.”

In addition, the activist group LGBTQ Nation wrote that the "Q in LGBTQ can also signify other sexual orientations and gender not covered by the acronym's preceding letters. If you're gender-neutral, non-binary, agender, genderfluid, pansexual, asexual, solosexual or something else not covered by LGBT, the Q has got you covered!"

In fact, there is an entire organization dedicated to normalizing pedophilia in America. B4U-ACT is a “collaborative effort of mental health professionals and people who are attracted to children or adolescents” with the goal “to educate the public regarding issues faced by these individuals.” The new euphemism for pedophile is a “minor-attracted person.”

Do not sit on the sidelines while radicals twist our nation’s laws to abuse children and people of faith. Send your urgent faxes to STOP THE EQUALITY ACT!

Right now, the House majority is razor thin. Just a few Republicans crossing the aisle would change everything. And now, with President Trump nominating Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) for Homeland Security secretary, the Senate will be short one vote.

There are few safeguards in place to protect your work, your church, your school, and even your home. Political pressure builds fast when leadership decides to act.

We are working with legislators to guard the floor, block a discharge petition, and close the committee schedules to this bill. And to be successful, WE NEED EVERY VOICE AND EVERY VOTE. We need your voice NOW to send a strong message.

STOP this bill from becoming law. We’re asking you to act now by faxing the Senate to oppose this outrageous bill and protect your freedom.

Among other things, the Equality Act will mean that:

  • Churches will be forced to provide equal access to LGBTQ ceremonies if the facilities are open to natural marriage ceremonies.

  • Churches and religious schools would be forced to hire staff involved in LGBTQ conduct; give men access to restrooms, locker rooms, showers and sports; allow boys to bunk with girls on camping and overnight trips; and provide insurance to cover hormones, mutilating surgeries, and chemical and surgical abortions.

  • Biological men will destroy women's sports and have entry to their restrooms, locker rooms, dressing/shower rooms, and shelters.

  • Noncompliant churches and schools will lose federal, state and local tax exemptions and accreditations.

  • From pre-K, children will be taught that they can choose their gender, will be encouraged to experiment with each other to find their "identities" and will be able to demand opposite, both and neither sex pronouns (he for a girl, zie for neither, mx for both).

  • Pregnancy centers will be forced to provide abortion referrals.


And if this bill passes, you will not escape its reach into every business, church, school, and basically everyone. It can even apply inside many personal homes!

STOP THE EQUALITY ACT!

This is a critical window — before movement begins. Once hearings are scheduled, it’s nearly impossible to cancel them. When votes are whipped, momentum shifts rapidly. That is why resistance at this point, before the ball gets rolling is so important.
