A father refused to lie — and for that, he lost his parental rights

Dennis Hannon had his parental rights removed, and he lost custody of his son. Not because he abandoned his son or stopped loving or caring for him, but because he dared to question the liberal narrative.

Dennis is a software engineer and a father who remembers lovingly holding his son for the first time. But when his son began questioning his gender and was then pushed toward the false ideology that a person can “change” their gender, Dennis did what any loving father would do.

That’s when everything changed.

Suddenly, Dennis was labeled a “bigot,” and a courtroom in New York stripped him of his rights as a parent because he refused the LGBTQ lies.

The court ultimately sided against Dennis — removing his ability to guide critical decisions in his son’s life after objecting to harmful puberty blockers, hormones, and mutilating surgery. Dennis was silenced and stripped of parental authority.

After Dennis and his wife, Amy, separated and without Dennis' knowledge, his wife started dressing their son in girl’s clothes starting at age 2 or 3. When the boy began school, the mother enrolled him as a “girl.” Only when he went to his dad’s house did he dress as a boy.

Dennis only found out later when the school sent him a letter regarding his child, “Ruby Rose” Hannon. Then the courts got involved. Dennis was ordered to pay for “gender therapy.”

“No one ever considered the psychological impact of socially transitioning a 5-year-old,” Dennis said.

After the court eventually stopped the mom’s “transition” efforts for the child, Dennis said, “Suddenly he has no desire to be a girl. He never had a desire to be a girl. It was a delusion his mom pushed on him.”

“I will always love my son. But this wasn’t his choice. It was forced upon him,” Dennis continued.

However, if the Equality Act passes, it will set up a culture where people can manipulate and mutilate children, and parents, pastors, and teachers will not be able to push back or speak out against the damage it is causing.
